During this first webinar of a two-part series, Caroline will make an introduction to ECMO, outlining the types of ECMO circuits (veno-venous versus veno-arterial), ECMO circuit components and their function. Most importantly, she will explain indications and patient selection for ECMO cannulation, siting monitoring and assessment tools for pediatric patients requiring extracorporeal life support (ECLS).
